  1. Thank you. I will definitely look into that. Anybody else have any more for me to look at?
  2. Hello. I have been an RN for 16 years having graduated from one of the "old school" hospital programs. I had every intention of returning to school quickly thereafter so my employer could pay for the rest of my education. Life and kids got in my way and time passed. I know that I need my BSN at this point to move up as I have burned out. I decided that I may as well do the RN-MSN track as I'm not getting any younger. I have worked the majority of my years on acute mental health units. I have developed a love of geriatric patients, though, and am not sure if I want to specialize in geriatrics or psychiatry. I have gotten more medical experience working in homecare. My major concerns are as follows: -Suggestions for the best online RN-MSN programs as far as quality for the cost. Not necessarily the cheapest. Convenience is more important as I need to keep working. -I am now worried that my credits won't transfer after this long. I spent two years part-full time taking pre-reqs before getting into the school. They had a lot required. If those are now completely wasted, it is quite disheartening. According to Walden University's info, they expire after 5-10 years. Any info would be appreciated. I have spent a lot of time looking at programs but it is quite overwhelming to narrow everything down. Thank you!
