  1. Hey guys, Does anyone have the info for the information sessions tonight? specifically where we meet for the 2:00pm one? I had my sheet on my desk and I think someone in my family may have thrown it out....I know our schedule is different than the 6 pm schedule. Thanks, Chelsea Harper
  2. Hey, does anyone have the information for the nursing coordinator we have to submit our physicals to? I thought I had her name, but I can't find her info anywhere. I think her name is Mary Turchi? If anyone had her name, e-mail, and location please let me know!
  3. You can test out. They will give you a packet to study in April if you choose to go that route.
  4. Awesome! I will look for you. I'm 25 but look younger. I have brownish hair and blue eyes. I'll probably be wearing a north face and black converse. I'm excited that we're picking our fall classes ahead of time so we can get to know people on the program. I think a Facebook page would be nice too. It would make it easier to find people to study with later on. See you soon!
  5. Yes we are! I am going on March 12th at 5:30. When I spoke to Nancy she said it was not going to take 3-4 hours as long as you are there on time. A lot of people come later than the designated. Time and it takes longer to register. We are registering for any summer classes (gen eds or math for nurses) and nursing for the fall!
  6. Hahaha I feel the exact same way. Congrats! I'm in Chester county night program!
  7. Yeah Nancy called me and told me the 10th and the 12th also. I'm super excited. Which program are you in??
  8. Has anyone gotten their letters yet? I guess it's still early and we've had a lot of snow, but I'm too excited to wait! Hahahaha
  9. I guess so. This must happen often with the evening program because Nancy really made sure I would make clinical and understood the responsibilities of the evening/weekend program. Thank you!
  10. Thank you! Nancy and I were just emailing back and forth and she asked me if I would switch to the night program if there were seats in January. Lo and behold I emailed her last Friday and she sent out my acceptance letter because there're are seats open in Marple day and CCH evening. She's like and angel.
  11. Yeah that would be awesome to know. I'm very interested in this.
  12. So rather than getting a BSN (I have a BA and an MA in humanities already) you can skip directly to a Masters in Nursing??? That sounds amazing!!!
  13. Guys! I am officially in the evening/weekend program for Chester County!! I forget who else was accepted into this session. Please let me know!!
  14. Hey guys, does anyone know when the orientation session is? I'm being offered a seat, and want to make sure I don't have any conflicting engagements.
  15. Anytime, were all here to support and aid each other!! I'm currently in Paoli for a surgery and am picking every nurses brain. makes me want this more!!!!!
  16. I took it, it was very very easy. You were allowed to get 2 questions wrong but I got a 99.5. It's the only math I found fun. Lmao
  17. Math for nurses is a requirement but not a requisite to get into the program. They really prefer you have them done, but if you have A&P done that's the largest hurdle.
  18. You have to have general English, general math, general psych, childhood development, abnormal psych, and intro to sociology on top of A&P I and II. If you look at the 2013 nursing info packet it will tell you exactly the course numbers.
  19. Yes!!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!
  20. CCH. She said some years are good some years are bad, next update in February. I'm not discouraged though.
  21. Or communicating with me about it rather. I've heard of people in the past being 12th or 15th on the waiting list and getting in. People apply to DCCC as a backup. In the past a number have rejected their seats.
  22. Directly from nancy wheeler. Where are you on the list? She's working with me.
