Congrats Get2theChoppa!! Can I ask what clinical experience you had on your application for CSULA? If I don't get into UCLA this year, I'm definitely applying to Cal State next year. I know they really push that clinical care partners volunteer program but I'm already doing TCAB at Cedars and starting a CNA position on a psych unit so I don't want to pile another commitment on.

2 more weeks?! The most I ever heard was they were going to let us know "in March or April." The wait is killing me!!! I feel like my whole life is on hold until I hear back. I only applied to one other school and was accepted, but decided not to go there due to cost/location (Western U). So it's UCLA or another year until nursing school. Every time I talk to friends/family, they ask me if I've heard from UCLA yet and I have to say NOPE NOT YET. At this point, I've pretty much convinced myself I'm not getting in. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

Those of you who got in, how do you like Concordia? Do you think it's a good value? $33k seems reasonably priced for a private school. Does it have a good reputation? Is the faculty good? How hard did you feel it was to get in and how much volunteer/other medical experience did you have when you applied? Thanks for your feedback!

Hi all, Does anyone know what's going on with CSU Dominguez Hills? They require you to attend a workshop in order to submit an application and they had all the workshops scheduled out over this semester. Then they mysteriously cancelled ALL the workshops about a month ago. I called and asked if they were going to be rescheduled and they just said to continue checking the website. I'm really hoping this program is getting cancelled. Anyone else have information?

I am STRESSING about my personal statement for Fall 2014. Any advice?? I don't have a unique personal story- I just really want to be a nurse!

Hi all, I'm considering CDU but info on their website is really limited. They still have up the application deadline for the Fall 2013 class. I'm looking to apply for Fall 2014. However I'm a little discouraged by the fact that they want GRE. So far, they are the only school I've come across that wants GRE. For those who took it, how much time did you have to put into it?

I want to do a Masters but am applying to ABSN programs as well just because everything is so competitive...
