Hi all! So question! I am planning on taking my boards next year, and I have started studying already about 20-50 question a day from Leik/ Fitz. My gf gave me her Hollier CDs from 2015 to listen to. Should I listen to them? I know some guidelines may be outdated but I definitely cannot afford the more recent CDs she put out. Advice? I have listened to a couple while driving to clinical sites just to see what the hype is about and they are truly amazing but I am skeptical if I am wasting my time. I appreciate everyones advice! I'm part time FNP online, I went to the page for FNP and it had listed a sample curriculum pdf file and I followed that and signed up. I heard sometime in a bit an email would be coming around on exactly what classes you will be taking and when but there were already classes that two of my coworkers got into and I didn't because I didn't sign up as fast as they did, so I signed up with another professor.

@ohioRN91 have you replied to OU? I talked to my advisor and she said their will be a welcoming call coming soon and we will have to make a decision then. It's so nerve racking.

Yeah it's down, it stated for updates to their computer system. it would be nice if they posted Today! I always think it has to be a Monday or Friday, especially Friday because then no one can call them over the weekend about the decisions.

You think they would put out decisions on a Monday? This is ridiculous how long this is taking.

Any updates? I refuse to even check.

Is anyone else going crazy over waiting for decisions?? I was at work the other day and met one of the online FNP instructors for Ohio states program.. of course I asked him if he knew anything about decision day and he said very soon and that they found out last year April 15. He couldn't tell me exact date for this year but he said it'll be about the around the same time. UGHHH 😑,

Did you hear anything from the other other schools you applied to?! I got into OU FNP, also as my back up. I heard a rumor on my unit from the other girls that applied that someone heard a date of April 1st for first round of decisions for OSU...I guess we will see! My coworker that got in last year heard around April 15ish. Best of luck to you! I hope we all get in somewhere!!

I got into OU as well!! Yes I'm right there with you, still waiting from OSU.. fingers crossed! What are your thoughts on the OU program? I did my bachelors online at OU and actually enjoyed it! But I also am use to online. We're you FNP as well, did you apply for the online? Congrats!! Hopefully we hear From OSU soon! Do you know how long we have to be able to hold out on deciding for OU?

Two girls on my unit didn't even have completed applications. So yes, everyone received an interview. Naomi Marcus is the lady at the graduate college that deals with the NP program, she is the one that I received the information from.. guess we will see what happens!! .. and I also got an interview for OU yesterday! I also have it on March 8.. ahhhhh fingers crossed!

So I called the college of nursing today and spoke to a lady that deals with The NP program applications her name is naomi. I wanted to make sure the lady I had spoke to back in December, didnt just make it up but naomi confirms that the interview process this year is standard and that everyone has received an interview. I asked since interviews got sent out earlier than last year if we would have a chance of knowing any earlier than may 1 and she said possibly but latest may 1. She said the reason behind interviews sent out so fast was that they were ahead of schedule on reviewing all the applications. Anyways that's all I asked and heard of so far! It still didn't ease my mind at all í ½í¸‘ ... fingers still crossed!
