I just wanna share my experienced to all of you who will taking their examination in the future. I'm Registered Nurse in the Philippines, I worked for 2 years in a private hospital. I graduated 2009. Im an average student. I took my NCLEX last Dec. 21st and able to have the result through Phone in VA BON, since my state doesn't participate to quick result, I have to wait until after Christmas holidays for my result!. Still Can't believe that I passed the exam but Im totally super happy. I started my review couple of months ago like august 2013. Decided to have my study schedule since I am having self review. I read couple of articles to this site, those who have passed the exam so that I can be motivated and uplift through their words. I scheduled my exam last October and decided to have my exam before christmas holidays so that I will no longer think about my review and will expect greatest gift on Christmas! thank you so much for all your help and never ending answering our queries , this group really helps a lot to those nursing graduates all over the world to pass the NCLEX. 3 things for me that you have to remember before starting your review. 1. MOTIVATION- you should have someone inspires you, like your friends and family!, and you have to set your goals what you want to be after months of preparation 2. HARD WORK- NCLEX will never be easy, nor hard. you should really work for it! Look for your best study habits, study guide, schedule, partner, etc. you really have to understand what you're reading 3. TRUST- this is the most important thing you should have, you have to trust yourself and trust GOD above all! Believe and it will surely works. Always Claim that God will always provide what we deserve!!!! After the exam, I wasn't able to really guess if I pass or fail the exam, I just Prayed. and Whatever the outcome, I should be happy after giving my best. I wasn't able to finished every of my reviewers, I didn't change my exam schedule, I just trust myself and God before my exam!. PVT done after couple of hours of Exam! Got a good up and after 4 days got my result! I used: Saunders 5th Ed book-wasn't able to finished the book and the Cd since mostly are identifications, I focused on the topics that I'm weaker. Saunders Q and A review(Blue Cover)-Finished the book PDA by La Charity-finished the book!. :_) Godbless everyone!

thanks !!! my state doesn't participate to quick result thats why it long my agony and waiting.... i called today, after Christmas, they said that they are still uploading files from holidays... hopefully good pop up work for me,,,, im really anxious!

I took my exam last dec. 21st saturday, i check the VA bon for my license yesterday and can't find any license registration no. Am i passed or failed?thanks!,,

wow thanks so much to all your response!!!! really appreciated it! heres the other question i encounter. a client refuses to take the med which of the following is a therapeutic response. im down with these 2. 1. ill come back later to see if you have changed your mind 2. you dont have to take the medication if you don't want to.

what should the nurse do? will reinforce the medication the second time? or will you document that the patient refuse the medication... thanks! I experienced this question while reviewing and got different correct answers. so confusing.., your response is highly appreciated!
