  1. I graduate this Fall. I have 2 kids under 2 but am thankfully done working until I graduate. You must have had no sleep between family, school, clinical hours, & work! I am sure you are glad it's all over! I have heard prior students say the live review was more helpful in pulling everything together. I will probably end up doing both, but as you know we already fork out a ton of money for tuitions & "class requirements" so it would be nice to just do one.
  2. Congratulations kathrn!! My program at UAB requires us to purchase & complete the Barkley Review throughout our last semester. I really like that they do this so we end up studying the entire last semester with a solid review. Did you do the online Barkley review (recorded lectures, book, & CD's) or the live review? Or both? I hear both are great.
  3. This is very helpful! Thank you for the input!
  4. I would love to hear as well.
  5. No walk into a practice with a long wait list to get in
  6. He countered with $25/patient with up to 4 weeks time off. That way I have flexibity & get paid based on productivity. I don't want to have to manage %'s so a set rate works great for me. All I have to do is track my number of patients. Everything else the same.
  7. Thank you guys for the feedback. I countered & waiting to hear back.
  8. I was offered a position as a Endocrine NP in the south east with terms as follows: $95,000 salary +$20/patient seen over 15 Monday-Friday 8-5 1 week vacation Good office support No call, nights, weekends, or holidays. No signing bonus/tuition reimbursement while finishing last semester No retirement benefits Health insurance for employee with 50% "base plan" contribution by employer Clinicals with MD to train for job Malpractice, licensing fees paid by practice Yearly CME conference I am concerned that 1 week sounds low for vacation time. Any suggestions/opinions appreciated.
