  1. Alexis04, I am on the same page as you, I haven't seen any update on my Stuview. Your friend got refused at GBC with a 83 average, I assume my chances will be slim to get accepted since my average is almost the same as hers even though I have already decided to go and accepted Georgian last week :) klovesedamame, I just want to let you know you can actually do the Pre-Health program and apply for the Georgian/ York Collaborative BScN Program. They accept college prep programs such as the Pre-health program!
  2. cctori, I'm happy that George Brown is one of your choices, hopefully we will be hearing back soon. Did you apply to any other colleges for RPN? I really like Georgian's campus as I have visited there yesterday , but am scheduling a day to visit George Brown also. Will decide which one to go for after if I do get into George Brown also, if not it only leaves me one choice, Georgian b.c I applied to only 2 programs for RPN.
  3. Hi, I have applied to George Brown for RPN also. I am also waiting for a response. From what I know some have got admittance as they have posted on the Janauary 2014 intake Practical Nursing board, but other than that I haven't heard anything so far. However, as reading on the January 2014 intake board, most offers are sent out well in October, so we'll just have to patiently wait and you'll hear back a response soon! Good luck.
  4. Hi vwgirl55, I never knew George Brown had a bridging program, but after searching up I found out they did. Thank you, I hope we all do soon =) Yes I did apply to Georgian for RPN, but not for the BScN not because I didn't want to, but when I applied it was already "waitlisted" I applied late I guess compared to others. Yes Georgian the collaborative program, BScN does accept any college preparatory courses! A lot of people didn't know and I believe Seneca is the same thing from what I heard since both are collab with York U. Thank you, I hope so too as I don't want to waste another semester since I graduated this year back in June but I didn't make any backup plans since I was dead-set on for programs which I was wait-listed for which is pretty bad mistake. Thanks for the heads up and I do hope everyone hear back soon =)
  5. vwgirl55, Finding what you want to be and pursing that goal is always the best feeling a person can experience. I am glad to hear that you decided that you want to become a nurse through the pre-health program. That is also my goal too (after being wait-listed for September for collaborative program for BScN) but time will come and it's the matter of fact whether I change my mind or not since I may just enjoy staying as a RPN or bridge to RN. I am assuming many are gearing more towards Centennial Bridging program with Ryerson (as it is a many individual's choices). Regarding bodies, organs and blood, we will just have to overcome our fears, not saying I not afraid of seeing organs =) Thank you, I am waiting for George Brown as I am still not sure whether I want to go to Georgian or George Brown(if I get admittance)
  6. Hii vwgirl55 That is an amazing GPA for a pre-health program. How was your experience at George Brown? Just asking you since you went there before. Is George Brown your first choice? I guess I will just have to wait until Oct since my last name starts with a T Thank you, congrat once again =)
  7. all Future RPNS, I applied to George Brown and Georgian. vwgirl55 congratz on your George Brown offer =) , do you mind telling us what average did you have as I see you have already got an offer from George Brown? I checked my stu-view and no update yet.
