No, that's why a majority of schools list it as non-refundable. I've paid 3 deposits before I decided where to go..ugh! Decisions decisions...Congratulations.

Expense and location are usually the major factors when deciding. I've been to IAD vicinity quite a few times but have yet to visit the VA campus. It is a very quiet and wooded area, which I can appreciate coming from the city. I've been to a few restaurants in the area but this was years ago. I chose GWU over 3 other schools because of the class size, prestigious name, cost, and location.

I considered NYU but did not apply due to the cost, I did not want to waste any time or recommendation letters. The cost is at least 90K! I'm from NY and that is absurd! Join the FB group for GWU ABSN, hopefully we all can get better acquainted!

Hi, normally second degree programs don't focus on your professional experience because they realize you'll be embarking on a new career path. If I had to guess I'd say that 3.0 is the least GWU will accept to provide an offer. Good luck!
