  1. Hi everyone! I will be writing my test on Wednesday, I was extremely nervous before reading this thread. I graduated highschool 9 years ago and was trying to study from HOAE test preparation book; it is the reason why I panicked! Thank you for the reassurance!
  2. klovesedamame- I applied to Fanshawe and got accepted! I have decided to accept their offer cause I prefer Western to York. Also, I still haven't heard anything from George Brown or Mohawk. Maybe we'll have some classes together come January!
  3. Hello all, I have been accepted into Fanshawe's Pre-Health program for January, I plan on taking the Fanshawe/UWO collaborative BScN program after. BUT I have noticed that the BScN program only has a September admittance and to be accepted into the Fall 2014 program all Pre-Health courses have to be completed by the end of April. (I believe) Meaning, if I choose to take Pre-Health in January, I can only get into the Sept. 2015 class. Does anyone know if they hold seats for the January Pre-health students for the same year (Fall 2014) OR if those who start the Winter Pre-Health are able to take the electives, during the year they have to wait for the following fall admittance? Any information would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you.
  4. Hi Chantel, I can see that I am a few years behind on this conversation, but I have a question about the BScN entrance. Fanshawe only has the Fall admintace to the program. Since you did the pre-health in January, did you have to wait until the following September (one year) to get into the program? Or does Fanshawe reserve some spots for the January pre health intake? I am unsure if it makes sense for me to start in January. Y
  5. I applied to Georgian and got accepted into their pre-health program. After reading your post this morning I decided to look into other schools and expand my options. My major concern is the distance of some of these schools. I would have to move an hour or further and I haven't accounted for that in my "back to school" budget. I guess its not a big deal, I just never considered it in the past. Congratulations on your acceptance to Fanshawe! I am happy to see that you are happy with this choice and the sound of their program. Everything will work out for the best.
  6. Hi all, Unfortunately I did not get an acceptance into the George Brown program either. I was crushed when I read "no offer" on STU-view, it took me about 24 hours to get over the shock of it. lol I was happy to read the advice given on this forum and have applied for the Pre-Health program at George Brown and Georgian. I am with you klovesedamame, this is not what I saw for myself in January either. The good news is that I can still accomplish my goal of becoming an RN, I will just have to take a different path to get there. I hope everyone gets the good news they are looking for, if not try not to stress there is always a way! :)
  7. Same over here. I haven't heard anything from George Brown yet. I am hoping something will be said this week.
  8. Congratulations vwgirl55! That is great news! I hope the rest of us see our status change shortly. I checked mine this morning (I wasn't able to on Friday) and there hasn't been an update as of yet, but I will for sure post once it does. :):)
  9. I applied to George Brown for Jan. 2014 start and I haven't heard anything yet and my status reads "under admission review". On the OCAS section of the "stuview" website it reads "no decision". So I called George Brown. They informed me that they just started looking at the January applications last week and will be sending out acceptances in October. So it looks like we have to wait a few more weeks.
