  1. So I was due for my annual TB testing and the hospital I am going to as a travel nurse requires a 2 step. So I had step 1 which disappeared almost immediately as usual. Today I got my 2nd done and its red, angry, sore. I know results aren't read for 48 hours. But I realized, they did it in the exact same spot as last week. Do you think placement in the same spot could cause a reaction?
  2. Thanks for the information and I will look into them. I won't have a car but at least it's a reference point :)
  3. No car, honestly my max is about 2000. I plan on using public transportation. It needs to have at least a fridge and ability to do some cooking in. Trying to avoid a roommate situation, unless it was a pretty good arrangement
  4. I have an upcoming position in Boston and rental prices ext are just wow. Looking for suggestions if anyone knows of any places! HEEEEELP!
  5. I am new to this site, and I am sure somewhere a thread like this exists. I thought it would be fun to see what things travel nurses have found that are just plain awesome and easy to pack around place to place, be it by car or plane, with hotel living, and apartment living. I personally geek out on kitchen stuff. What's your travel treasure? I will share a couple of mine. The first thing which I am sure many of you are aware of are Ziploc steamer bags. I love my veggie steamer back home but I have found these are an awesome substitute! They are cheap, and do a great job with a variety of things including fish! While the microwave does zap nutrients, this is a great travel nurse accessory! http://www.ziploc.com/Products/Pages/ZipSteamMicrowaveCookingBags.aspx?SizeName=Medium ( I can't get the link function to work from kindle) Another thing I have that I can't live without is called an aeropress. I feel it's a coffee lovers dream. If you are sick of hotel coffee pots or packing around one, or worse paying for Starbucks because it's just convenient I suggest you look into one of these. I got mine on Amazon for $25 and its been worth every penny! http://www.amazon.com/Aerobie-AeroPress-Coffee-Espresso-Maker/dp/B0047BIWSK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1380035164&sr=8-1&keywords=aeropress What have you found? Please provide a link if possible. I'm hopeful everyone has something that will be of value to us other travelers!
