It's been 6 years since I took the board exam for both the AANP and ANCC. After I failed, I fell into depression so I just went back to travelling nurse. Now I'm thinking should I try again? But I do not know how to start. Need help. Please.

I am a registered nurse here in Florida for 10 years. I took my Bachelors in the Philippines (2006) and had my Masters in Nursing here in the US (2015). I applied for endorsement in New Jersey but they require me to do a U.S. Credential evaluation service. course by course review through CGFNS. I did my evaluation of my Bachelors to Josef Silny and when I went for my master I did it through Educational Perspectives. Here are my questions: 1. Why do I still need to be evaluated since my highest degree was done here in the US. I would not be accepted in MSN program if I did not go for another evaluation, course by course review. 2. Can I use Josef Silny or Educational Perspectives instead of CGFNS? 3. In CGFNS, do I still have to do TOEFL or IELTS? Thank you.

I finally received the multi license Today! never expected I would receive it so soon.

I followed this Florida Board of Nursing >> Nurse Compact FAQs - Licensing, Renewals & Information. It tells you about fingerprinting and ORI# [h=3]What ORI # will I use if I need to be fingerprinted to upgrade to a Multi-State License (MSL)?[/h]EDOH4420Z Do I need to get my fingerprints done to apply for the upgrade? The Board of Nursing will accept Livescan fingerprints completed within the previous 90 days of applying for the upgrade. If you have not had your fingerprints done and sent to the Board in the last 90 days, you will need to be fingerprinted

I did it today. The steps I did for the upgrade: 1. Go to MQA Online Services and log in. Choose Manage my license and select Multi-State Registered Nurse Upgrade Application. Answer the questions. 2. Pay the $100 dollars. FYI, it shows the breakdown for test application and license application something like that. But there is no exam. I called the board and they said there is no exam. They are trying to fix that problem. The multi-license cost $100. 3. I went to Palm Beach county sheriff's office to do the live scan fingerprinting. Tell them the ORI#EDOH4420Z, I paid $15 and they gave me a paper that says electronic fingerprinting transmittal. You go to the website Civil Applicant Payment System (CAPS) and enter your TCN. I paid $60 for that. Now I wait.

Me too. I graduated in 2015 and took the AANP twice and ANCC once and failed. I found out I was pregnant after my graduation and I was devastated. I had complications with the pregnancy and after birth. Until now I still have the postpartum depression. I am on counselling but choose not to take any medications. I still believe that God has a plan for me. I am starting to review again. Hopefully to pass this year. God is always good!

What was your score with APEA predictor exam? Would you recommend doing the questionnaires and rationale only or have to do another review content?

Hi, yes I am on counseling. I immediately seek help when I was aware my depression is not subsiding. And yes, I am taking birth control pills :-) What I am planning to do is next month I will be studying for the whole month without working. I told my husband if we can get a home equity we can pay our bills when I am not working and take that opportunity to study for a whole month. I am using APEA, Leik and Fitzgerald for studying. Thank you for your response.

I haven't tried yet. The only thing I noticed is that when I went to pay the practice test through PSI exams some of the questions where in my exam before.

Congratulations! God is really good! I pray that I will pass someday. I'm back to studying again.

I used the leik questions and exam edge questions for almost a month. 100 questions for the exam edge and with leik, I do 75 in the morning and 75 in the evening. It takes me 6-8 hours a day to study. If I don't know the questions I read the content.

I don't have medical insurance because I am now per diem. I changed my status after the birth because I had complications. My husband that time had a job so we're using his insurance. Unfortunately, he lost his job. He does computer jobs house to house for now. My kids pediatrician referred me to a free counselor which I am using now. I am aware that i have anxiety and depression that is why i go to counselling. I will try to study even though there's a lot of distractions. I can't afford to go to live review or buy another reviewer. I still have my leik book, Fitzgerald and apes. I am just not sure if those were enough. My classmate gave me her password for examedge. I know God has a plan and there's a reason for everything. Thank you for your reply.

That time I have to take the exam because it was the last day for me to take it. I took the AANP and ANCC on December 2015 and both failed it. After giving birth I took the AANP on October 2016 and failed again. I was devastated. The pregnancy was hard and I had complications until I gave birth. Till now I still have my postpartum depression. I change my position to per diem so I can study. But my husband lost his job and now we both have no medical insurance. I have to work overtime to take care of the family. I have 3 kids, 11 y/o, 9 y/o and 1 y/o. I found a website for tutors and went to meet this person. I am not sure of him. I just need somebody to help me overcome my anxiety and help me with test taking strategy. I thought I was ready before but I guess I was not. Its 2017 and I am still here, not licensed, financially unstable and depressed. I lost my concentration to take the exam. My faith in God is declining. I don't know what to do. I am totally lost. :-(
