Hello, I am having trouble deciding on what school to go to. I have recently been accepted to the nursing program at Galen starting on January 6, 2014. I also have a spot in the Bellarmine Respiratory Therapy program in the Fall of 2014. I have taken Anatomy, Physiology, College Algebra, Chemistry and Micro at Indiana University SE. I understand that Galen has their SACS accreditation but they do not have their ACEN accreditation and they are not seeking that accreditation at this moment. I have credits that will transfer into Galen and I can potentially graduate a quarter early. Galen is usually a 24 month program. Once I graduate I will go back to school to get my BSN at either Spalding University or Indiana Wesleyan University. Bellarmine's Bachelor RT program is about $36,000 a year and I have more interest in becoming a nurse rather than a respiratory therapist. I'm sure Bellarmine has a great program but the cost is almost a deal breaker. If I attend this school I will graduate in 2016 with my Bachelors. Any suggestions will be helpful! Thanks.
