The company is a recruiting company ( Caan and Associates). They sent an advertisement looking for OR nurses. I have not been asked to sign anything at this point. They also have said that they would help with finding my family housing. I have heard that Modesto is not a very safe place to live. With this day and age there really isn't a very safe place to live.

Hello All, I have a phone interview for a nursing position in Modesto CA next week. Currently I live in Massachusetts and therefore would mean a relocation. I know there are a lot of nursing position scams out there and I am hoping that this is not one of them. They have not asked me for any money and have stated that they would send me an e-mail with confirmation numbers for my flight, rental car, and hotel room if the phone interview went well. If all goes well then my next concern would be where to live. My two sons would be going with me so I would need a safe place to live. If anyone has any information I would sincerely appreciate it. Thank you
