  1. I'm checking my email and this every few hours. Sitting on fire till that email come
  2. Natijamison87, your kids look cute. I guess they're keeping you busy just so your waiting time is less boring. I have a 1 yr old. I start thinking about my backup plan if I can't make it this time
  3. On nursing calendar of Brookhaven website, Nov 18 is the day of sending out acceptance or regret. It means by the end of today, we should know something. I think we should get the email before 6 pm cuz their office hour ends at 5.
  4. We should go neutral, or black and white. Suit might just be a little heavy on me. I want to be comfortable and still look professional without too much effort. I'm thinking about a nice blouse, a pair of slacks, and my favorite taupe shoes. No statement jewelry. I also think a sheath dress will be nice, too. I don't think fancy purses would work. Pick the most elegant handbag you own, or just a folder. Have one or two good pens, since we'll be doing essay. I'll do the least makeup as possible, just want to look fresh and confident. Maybe a mini picture of my toddler daughter will keep my from sweating while waiting for the interview, lol.
  5. Got the invitation! Yay! My heart is pounding right now. Congrats everyone!!!
  6. Spending the whole day watching my inbox and feeling nervous! I'm gonna give myself a really good sleep tonight and not think about it anymore. Hic. Called the school today and no one answered.
  7. Do they also send out refusal emails as well? Or just those invited to the interview get the email?
  8. I am talking to a nursing advisor tomorrow to see if my pathophysiology is transferred. I took it out of state. Until then will I be able to calculate my points.
  9. Hesi is not difficult. Just take your time to work on each question. I took mini breaks during the test to drink water & gather my mind. Lots of ratio problems in math section. A&p is just basic questions.
  10. I've just taken HESI yesterday and only scored 90. I'm crying & worrying a lot. Any of you remember the cut off point that the dean mentioned in the info seminar? I am sure he did say something like: if you have twenty something points, you are pretty competitive. Now i don't remember exactly if he said 28 or what. Crying, crying. I could done better on the hesi. Good luck to everyone applying for spring 2014.
