  1. My heart calls for a Nursing Home

    I've been an Lvn for almost five years and all the experience I have is two years as a home health nurse. I always wanted to work in geriatrics but all this "one year experience in hospital" is driving me crazy. The lack of work makes me feel like i'm loosing my skills. I have been unemployed for one year and no calls from all the applications I have filled out. pls. I am not in this field for the pay but rather for the passion and rewarding feeling I have at the end of the day after knowing I cared for others. Any advice as to how to get in a nursing home?
