Hi, i am considering attending LPN school and have a couple questions and concerts. I would like to be a nurse, but to take all the required classes to become a RN, and then the waiting list, it would take 2 years before i could even start a program. So, I am thinking about attending a technical school that offers an LPN program. It is 1 year long. I have a couple questions. I heard you have to get a 80% in the classes to pass. What happens if you are halfway threw the program and you get lower than a 80% or fail part of the program? Do you have to drop out of LPN school entirely, or will they give you a chance to retake the part you failed? The program I am thinking about accepts 30 students. What percentage of students usually pass an LPN program? 50%...80% etc? I would just like to know if it has a good pass, or fail rate. I am thinking of attending TECO(technical education center of osceola county), or orlando tech, in florida, does anyone know if these are good programs? I already passed the entrence test for the technical school (tabe test), but I failed the NET with a school of 63%, and they want a 65%, I am going to try and re-take it this week. Any tips? Thanks! Tara
