Loma Linda University Medical Center New Hires!
Ah OK. A lot of my classmates were surprised with how "physical" their new hire physicals have been.

Loma Linda University Medical Center New Hires!
I have an interview tomorrow for the Neuro Intermediate unit. It took them a few weeks to call me but they finally did. The person I spoke to said the interview is from 9-12 and that it would take the whole time...a 3 hr interview sounds very daunting to me. I have an ADN and BLS plus I have NIHSS group A certification (did it during school!). I have no prior medical experience other than school, so we shall see how it goes. I really would love this position so I hope it all goes well. For those of you that interviewed, what was it like? Any tips? This is my first real nursing interview so I'm nervous!

Over a month and still no results
Hi! My license posted on Breeze a few days ago, Sept 30. The day before my license posted I went through so much grief that day. I had an operator pass me off to someone without telling me anything, I assume he was a supervisor because he insisted he didn't do status updates regularly. Anyhow, this gentleman told me that there was no record of me having ever taken the exam. I had no exam history so he assumed Pearson had never transmitted my results and told me I had to call pearson. I called pearson and they said my results were transmitted and the board acknowledged receipt on 8/24 3 days after I tested. This prompted a follow up call to the BRN on my part and thank goodness I got a very nice gentleman on the line this time. He told me that their pearson liaison must not have released/processed my results. He told me he would email her and have her process them right away, and that he had to say it would take a couple days but realistically she would have it done in a couple hours. He also told me he would personally contact me if anything else was wrong beyond that. By that time it was nearly closing time for them so I assumed I wouldn't see it in a couple hours lol. Then lo and behold my license was there at 0815 the next morning. This was my 6th week of waiting and I honestly think that they don't fully look into the issues unless its been their full 4-6 week processing time.I did have multiple people along the way ask "when did you test" "what date did you say you tested" like maybe they couldn't see my history like the supervisor said and they just brushed it off cause it was "early". All you can do is stay on top of it. I just didn't want to be lost in the system forever so I contacted them and made they look into it. Best of luck and keep us updated!

CA NCLEX takers w/ interim permit, has breeze posted your results?
Okay update: My license showed up on Breeze today!! Yesterday I called, was transferred to a supervisor and he told me that they had no history of me ever taking an exam and had me call pearson to transmit my results. Pearson already had but turns out the pearson liaison at the BRN had not released my results. I got someone nice on the phone to email the liaison and voila the license showed up today. Seems no one wanted to look into it until the 6 week time frame came up Anyway thats neither here nor there...the license showed up thats all that matters!!!

@Une Infirmiere Yeah it was a strange thing I hadn't heard until that day. I called again today since this is my 6th week of waiting and while explaining my situation to the operator she cut me off and just transferred me to who I assume was a supervisor. His phone rang for a bit and then I got his voicemail so I left him a very nice message with my contact info so we will see if I get a call back anytime soon. I have been reassured multiple times that my file is complete and nothing is missing so that is why I am really concerned and trying to stay on top of them. @slicksGIRL I did PVT and got the good pop up twice. Both way after the 48 hr mark. You are meant to go to the CC page and put in your CC info then hit submit. You do run the risk of it actually taking the $200 payment though.

No. Still nothing...when I sign on to Breeze I'm still showing pending and no license info. Got the good pop up on Pearson twice so I'm trying to keep that in mind. I will call again if it doesn't show up tomorrow.

It really is... I do realize they're understaffed, I get it, I do. It just seems long even for being understaffed. I just feel like I should be doing something to stay on top of it but I don't want to call and further delay them.

Over a month and still no results
I took NCLEX-RN here in California on August 21. I was the very first person in my class to test and yet I am only 1 of 2 of us that has been waiting. I've called the BRN a few times and been assured that my file is complete, but my results have not been processed/manually entered into the computer. When asked about why it is that some people that tested the same day or after me have gotten results on Breeze in 48 hrs I was told that depending on how the initial file is processed some applicants are set up for auto license once their results clear. The others are set up for manual process and that it is split so that 50% of applicants are auto license and the other 50% are manual process. This was the first I had heard this and it really makes no sense to me that they would make this their process. Now my concern is their processing times are listed on the BRN site and it says that they are processing results from 8/31/15-9/4/15. Since I tested 8/21 what does this mean for me? I literally don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to call again and be brushed off but I don't want to be lost in the system either. Anyone have a similar situation? At this point it's just very frustrating not being able to do anything until those results come in.

CA BREEZE (NCLEX -RN)
I got a little info from the BRN that I hadn't heard before...I took my NCLEX on August 21 at 0800. I had two classmates take it the same day and time and they both got their licenses and saw their name on breeze within 48 hrs. I am STILL waiting exactly a month later. I called the BRN and explained the situation to the person and he said " depended on how the application is initially processed an applicant will either be auto-licensed once their results are verified or they will need to be manually processed once results come in" and that "half of all applicants are auto process and the other half will be manual process" which is why some of our classmates will get theirs quicker than others. Still frustrating sitting here a month later and being told to wait for a full 30 days from test date before being concerned and that they are still processing my file.. So I guess in summary its just pretty random as long as your file is complete.

What does your school have you wear to the Pinning Ceremony?
In my program here in so cal we had to wear white scrub dress and white tights with all white shoes and hair up with the our nursing caps. We all had to purchase everything separate on our own. The avg price of the dresses for us were $20-30. Luckily a lot of the previous graduating classes donate their dresses...they're only worn once. The men just wore their white uniform that we had to wear for clinical throughout the program.

NCLEX rn results on CA Breeze
I had to call early right at 0800. Even then I had to hang up and call back multiple times...didn't actually get an answer until 0830ish.

File Incomplete
One of my classmates was missing her exam ID form and the BRN actually sent her a notice in the mail to tell her to submit it. I would try calling again, I know how difficult that is, and see exactly what it is they need from you. Maybe your school was like mine and sent off transcripts late. We graduated May and they didn't send off transcripts until almost July. Either way hang in there it will work out.

Passed NCLEX in 75 and in 42 minutes
See I had considered the fact that being done in such a short period of time would look bad. I honestly had no idea one minute I was on question 20 and then I looked up and saw I was on question 65 and I thought I was pacing myself lol. I figured as much though....I waited almost 3 months for my ATT, I'm sure I can wait this one out too. Thank you for the information!

NCLEX rn results on CA Breeze
Took mine Aug 21, and I'm still waiting for my name to show up on Breeze. My classmates have seen theirs within 48 hrs of testing but for some reason mine is still not posted and I've gotten the good pop up. I did call the BRN and the person I spoke to said they still needed to manually enter my results into the computer, so maybe there are some delays.

Passed NCLEX in 75 and in 42 minutes
This is actually pretty reassuring because I am still waiting for my NCLEX results. I took NCLEX on August 21 and finished in 75 questions and just around 45 mins. I always did well on tests in school and was a fast tester. I only did about 50% of Kaplan Qbank and all of the trainers, averaging about 70%. I personally found NCLEX a lot easier than Kaplan as well and I, like you, could not tell if a question was "hard" or not. Now I am hoping I get my results soon! I was the first of my class to test and everyone that has tested after me saw their name on Breeze within 48 hrs. I called the board finally and they said my results were never entered into the computer, apologized, took my phone number to return my call if needed, and said they were passing my file on to the licensing department immediately. I've done PVT and got the "our records indicate you've already scheduled this exam..." pop up, so that and this post has made me feel much less anxious. Thank you for sharing your story!!
