  1. Thinking of going back into nursing....

    Hi All! I have been a nurse since 1993 but stopped working in the field about 6 years ago. I am looking into reentering the work force but feel like I need a refresher class and I'm not sure I want to go back to direct patient care. I'm older now and I know how exhausting nursing is (mentally and physically)...Any suggestions on how to go about re-entering the field in something like case management or utilization review? The bulk of my experience is in the Operating room, Mental Health, and pediatrics. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. :)
