Hi wonderful nurses! I am so excited that I have an opportunity to interview for an amazing internship but I have a little snag... I have not yet taken an employment aptitude test. I was told it is just to get a sense of your ED knowledge, not pass/fail but I really want to kick butt! I did do my integrated practicum in a level I trauma center but I have now been out of school (desperately fighting for jobs like so many of us new grads) for 3 months and I definitely want to brush upon my knowledge. Has anyone taken one??! Any advice? Is this going to be more clinical skills, situational questions? Or is it more about "how you think/analytical skills"? I have interviewed for a pediatric ED spot but so far so other EDs... If anyone has advice on potential interview questions or angles I should talk up, I would greatly appreciate your input. I am a really excited about this opportunity and want to be as prepared as I can. I'll be studying away and look forward to your responses. Thanks for helping out a fledgling ED nurse in need :) Tiger
