My OPF file was updated 3/10/22 with a $3500 bonus none of my co-workers were told was coming. My SF 50 reads thats this is a Group Cash- 5 USC CH 45. Incentive reward for superior accomplishments. We also got an email stating we were getting a 8% pay raise in a few months. Did anyone else hear of a 8% pay increase at your VA's or is this just my VA?

I just submitted my application and was sent a practicum document to fill out before I can register for classes. I didn't think I needed a practicum site until at least a year in. I'm supposed to start August 28 but now I'm not so sure it's going to happen.

I took the NCLEX on June 2nd. 75 questions and the testing took me about 45 min with check in and check out I was there from about 1630-1730. I took the test in Kentucky and the board of nursing had my license up on the their web site 15 hours (about 0830-0900) after I completed the test. They then sent me an email 12 hours (email time stamp 1623) after it was posted on the website confirming that I my license had been issued, expiration date, and all that good stuff. If you are taking the test in Kentucky and getting your license through KY I would just wait until they(KY not Pearson Vue) post your results. If you take your test on Friday this timeline may not be the same for you. Again this is only for Kentucky.

Heads up! I just got an email about a drug test we have to take and the process has to be started today on the Certified Background website.

Hey everyone! I haven't commented on here in awhile I've been busy with getting everything ready for classes to start. A few of you have mentioned your loans. I took out a Wells Fargo med cap loan. I filled out the paperwork online on 10/31/13. When I first checked the UU portal the loan was not on there. I checked two days ago and it still wasn't on there. I checked today and it has been accepted. So if anyone is still waiting just keep checking. I only took out a small loan to cover whatever my 9/11 Bill won't. I will also be commuting from about an hour away from Oak Grove KY. Someone mentioned thinking they are one of the oldest (DRPierce I think) at 28. HA!!! I'm 36 lol. I'm hoping to keep working until May since my classes after March will be online. I'm looking forward to meeting all you OLD!! 28 year old ladies lol. Good luck to you all!!

@ DRPierce. I have both heart saver CPR AED and health care provider BLS. Both classes were the same but the cards are different. The health care provider card has "Health Care provider" across the top and on the bottom it says American Heart Association BLS for health care providers. I would take the BLS class since that is what they are asking for.

Hey everyone just wanted to let you guys know that I just received my transfer credit info. It looks like all I'll have to take in the first session is NUR 306, 302, 419 and patho. My stats transferred since it was a math department stat class. I forgot who asked this question but they accept grades of "c" or above for transfer. The letter they sent has a footnote that mentions minimum grades. Wish I could tell you guys more. I'll make sure to get on here and pass on any info I get.

My email said my deposit was due before the 23rd of Sept. i don't know if its the same for everyone. I'm using my 9-11 bill from the Army to pay for tuition but may need to take a small loan if it doesn't cover everything.

@apartridge I'll be commuting from Oak Grove KY it's right outside of the Fort Campbell Army post. It's also about am hour drive.
