  1. Hi!!! I ended up not applying to schools that needed organic and got into crna school! As bad as it sounds, I finished the class up until the last two chapters and quit the class. All I have to say, is be prepared to spend all your time on this class... everyday. I worked nights, so I was able to practice problems at work during downtime. It is very hard because it takes a ton of time to read, listen to lectures (that are not very helpful), teach yourself the material, take notes, and practice problems! I think the best advice I can give you, other than not take this class, is find a daily routine that works for you. Know that it will be an everyday thing for 16 weeks, if not more, but you will get through it! My routine was Day1: Print lectures, listen to him speak, highlight/take notes, do the in-chapter questions. Day 2: That morning review my notes. Do the extra problems at the back of the chapter. Take the quiz. Day 3: Next chapter, print lectures, listen, take notes, in-chapter questions. Day 4: Review notes, extra problems, quiz. .... you get the idea. Since I work night shift, I got up an extra 1-2 hours earlier to do this It sucked. The only problem is that I FLEW through the book. I recommend maybe every 5 chapters review again and practice those 5 quizzes. Kind of like a mid-term or quarter check. I think if I had done that, the final would not have been so scary. I hope this helps!!! Good luck with everything!!
  2. Hello everyone! I have flown through UNE's Online Medical Organic Chemistry. I have to admit, many times I had to use Chegg.com to help with problems. I saw on a post from 2011, other people feel the same way I do about this course: -unreasonably hard, you teach yourself EVERYTHING -have to use youtube and chegg (accidentally paid $80 for a subscription!) -the questions in the book AND the quiz questions are nothing like the material taught With that said, I got into a great routine and pushed through the book in 2.5 months. Now, I need to study for the final. I am so scared that I rushed through it so fast, I will not recall anything. Has anyone taken this final?! What did you study? How did you study? For how long? I am applying to CRNA schools this month, so I do not have a ton of time to study for it Any advice would be helpful!!!! Thanks :)
