I was under the impression they would accept you conditionally based upon the completion of your prereq's with the proper required GPA. If anyone else has any other insight on this please feel free to jump in here.....

Yes I had Chemistry & Statistics last semester. I am off this semester, I was just waiting to hear back from UAMS to move forward. Where are you taking Chemistry?

I did not hear anything but I did go ahead and purchase my books for the summer classes. They should start getting here any day now

On a positive note clinic mouse, I think they are doing it in rounds because some people just interviewed this past week. What do your stats look like? Aka GPA and Teas scores? For the purposes of the program they are only using your GPA of the prerequisites required.

That's Great Happygirl! Let us know when you get your letter I am getting my physical done first and sending everything in together. I have already applied for the Pell grant and it will not cover everything but I also get the Arkansas Challenge Scholarship so that will help out & everything after that I will be paying out of pocket for. I am trying to get through it without student loans.

I just checked the mail today because I realized I had forgotten to take it yesterday and I received my acceptance letter! I'm so excited!! Did anyone else get theirs?

Just an update on the GPA. I finished my Statistics with a B which dropped it to 3.94. I called today to see if they would tell me how many people have applied already but they said they didn't know but definitely over 120.

I asked during my interview what the average GPA was and was given the answer that it varies depending on who applies. Welcome and hopefully we will ALL be getting those acceptance letters in the next few months.

Me too! I currently have a 4.0 in all of the prereq's but I have to finish statistics and I will be done with it on Monday. I had it last semester but couldn't take my final because I had a baby so I am going Monday to take it. I have a B in there right now so I guess it could go either way. If we were going off the GPA for all of my classes whether they are prereq's or not I have a 3.94. I can't remember if they just go off the prereq's or not.

I asked them during my interview how many students they will take. The response was 120. I asked if they could give me an idea of how many apply and was told it varies. Did they not leave a number for you to call back? If it were me I would look up the number online and call them back myself if they did not leave a number. I would give you the name of who you need to talk too but the last time I put a name in this thread it was edited & I was told we cannot use names. Good Luck with your interview, just relax and you will do fine. I am just curious what does everyone's GPA look like?

I'm so glad to see others have joined to wait it out! To update: the interview process wasn't bad at all, just be yourself and relax. The questions are geared towards who you are & your personality. The people were pleasantly nice and for those of us who don't carry cash you need to remember to bring some for the parking fee. Good Luck everyone!

I received an email stating my application was received on January 3rd and they called me last week to schedule an interview. So I want to say around 2 weeks. Did you get a confirmation email stating your application was received?
