  1. Hey Jenn, I have paid for the challenge exams and have all my materials in for the deadline of 11/1 for ISU. I have not taken the exams for the reason you have stated , ive heard that they are difficult. I plan to take my first one tomorrow so ill let you know. I dont think I am going to rush to take them, I just might wait to finish by the next deadline which is June 1st. I am in the process of doing business with Excelsior College so right now im not really sure which direction I will exactly be heading. Far as study materials to be honest ive been doing this for 10 years, what I dont know I wont know but I did study the Nclex book front to back and I brought all the Lippincott "Straight A's in Pediatric Nursing'', Straight A's in Maternal-Neonatal Nursing, Straight A's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing , and Straight A's in Medical-Surgical Nursing. I found those books to be extremely helpful so I think im ready. Wish me luck and ill keep you posted.
  2. I am a Lpn who took a break from my ADN program. Traditional school is so expensive and to spent another 10-15K on my ADN is kinda depressing, so im trying to figure things out. I just got accepted to ISU LPN to BSN and it probably is going to cost 15K, which is a better deal. Any LPN's in Illinois want to take this journey with me, or should I just go back to the traditional school ????? So frustrating.....
