  1. I had this same concern re: the health risk of sugar substitutes. I researched for a bit and bottom line is too much of anything can be bad for you. Moderation is the key. I myself use sugar substitute in my water w/ lemon, coffee and tea. I have been trying to "cut back" on the number of packs that I use per day. Both my parents were diabetes and I myself run the risk as well. Just doing what little bit I can to minimize the risk.
