  1. I agree. Nurses should work together, not snipe. If a nurse of any age does something unsafe or merely irritating, it is up to the complainer to address it DIRECTLY with that nurse. It is not a matter of age alone. I once learned a lot from a nurse who addressed everyone with a big smile, and in a joking way. She made her points too.
  2. Hazel, If part time volunteering is something you feel you can do, the American Red Cross desparately needs nurses. You can volunteer in blood drives, service to the Armed Forces, helping people displaced in house fires, working in an emergency shelter--all addressing health care needs. Contact your closest Red Cross to find out more. Or email me.
