Hi, there! I'm Jessica and would love to respond at length to your post but I'm in a plain 'n simple panic right now! I called the nursing department weeks ago to ask about the background checks and was told that AO needed only to complete the check for which there was an actual link, not the a DCF one. But apparently not! Arghhhhh... I'm gonna call down there in the morning and find out what the heck I'm supposed to do now. Frustrating, to put it politely Anyway, I'm also super excited to meet everyone in our cohort-- hope to see you soon!

Hi! I applied to the AO a few weeks ago. I live in North Miami Beach but will be moving to Broward in the spring. Do you know what time we need to be on campus? I was hoping to take the tri-rail/metro down when possible, but the earliest trains through Hollywood aren't until after 7am. Gotta get my son to preschool before that too. Yikes, so much to plan for... not to mention getting in!

I'm so glad to see there's a thread for AO Spring 2014 hopefuls! Does anyone know specifics about the class schedules? I'm single with a 3 y/o son and foresee a lot of shuffling around . Worth it in the end, right? I turned in my application a few weeks ago-- I only applied to the MDC AO, so I'm REALLY hoping my 94 TEAS and 3.86 GPA will do the trick, 'cause all my eggs are in one basket at this point! I guess we'll see... Good luck to everyone!!!
