Salary in Seattle
Hi, I'm moving from Houston to Seattle. Currently I have two job offers : IR at downtown Swedish location and PACU at Virginia Mason in Bellevue. I have a BSN with a background in CVICU (2yrs) and PACU (2 yrs) from the Medical Center in Houston. Considering the cost of living, my experience and education, how much should I negotiate for pay? Thanks!

UTMB Fall 2013
I am applying to Texas State Nursing program for Fall 2014 and wanted to hear from you guys especially the ones who were accepted for previous year. My Pre-requisite GPA is close to 4.0 with only B in Nutrition. My UT GPA is 3.3 with a not-so-good TEAS V score of 83.3%. Surprisingly, I still fall in the top 7% in the nation. But reading the threads, sounds like many of you guys excelled in TEAS. My English is average to what Texas State accepts, my science is above 10% but my math is below 7%. I'm torn whether I should re-take the test in hopes of getting a better math score. Also, does anyone know how Texas State add up the points? Do they look at your individual TEAS score or consider your national percentile. Is it pre-req GPA weighed more compared to TEAS? Please advise!
