  1. That is awesome! I will check if my school offers that.
  2. Thank you so much for your post! It has helped a lot! As you said, a minor could be something to help your resume or a passion. For instance, business management would be great if I want to be a nurse manager, but I have passion for history and video production. Would you recommened something to help my resume or just find a passion? Thanks again!
  3. Ah! I see. I have a lot of credits coming in so I figured I have room to find a minor, and as llg said, In my university, there is a nursing major.
  4. Ok, yeah I can see that. I was just wondering if it would give me an edge in a certain specialty.
  5. Hey guys! I'm Kevin and this is my second semester as a nursing major and everything is going great! So I wanted to minor in a field since I have a lot of credits transferred in! I am looking to be a nurse manager or a pediatrician nurse. So of course things like business management is great for that field. How important are minors and is it worth it? I ask because I want to minor in video production or history since I have the I intrrestes but I don't know how important it would be for my future career... What minors would be good for me? And suggestions? Thanks guys, have a great day! Kevin

  8. Hey guys I am a senior in high school and right now is the time to decide what I want to do in the future. I really don't know myself what I want to be, one day I want to be a chef and the other I want to be a civil engineer. However, my family and a lot of people I came across say my personality is great to be a nurse. At first I was like pfft I'm a man I cant be a nurse.(pardon my semi-sexism,) But afterwards I gave it some thought and maybe it is a choice for me. There is just so much I want to ask which is why I was brought to this site. This is my first ever forum. FYI I have no clue about anything else about nursing, the environment, the work, or anything. I just heard a lot of stereotypes. I am here to learn and explore the world of nursing to see if I would fit in. I would really appreciate it if you could further help me. Here is my email, [email protected] First off, what do you deal with? Is the job demand abundant? How much pressure is on a nursing student and a first time nurse? What options of nursing are there like what does a RN do? like I said Idk anything lol. I have many questions to ask so lets start somewhere and the questions should come out.
