Hi, I am currently attending gurnick in Modesto. I'm just about to finish up my first module. My experience so far has been great all the instructors are very nice and they are very informative I feel like I have learned so much from them in a small amount of time. The workload is overwhelming since it is an accelerated program. Most weeks we usually have three tests and on top of that homework. Other than the workload being a little overwhelming I don't regret my decision to attend gurnick. I've learned so much in such a small amount of time and the days go by so fast I still can't believe I am almost done with my first module just have to take finals next week.

Hi, I also start the LVN program at Gurnick Monday I'm also in the morning program. When they called me about orientation they told me it was at 9.00. However, since I haven't paid for my class yet they told me to come at 8.30.

Just got a call orientation will be on Monday.

Yes, I will be there! So I will see you there. Do you know if the first day will be orientation? I ask because I'm not sure what to bring with me the first day.

Hi, I am not actually attending school there yet. I am still waiting on enrollment. But there enrollment process has gone very smooth for me so far. The entrance test was very easy. I also spoke to the advisor and everything went well. So now i just have to wait till they start actually enrolling I'm hoping to start in April. Next time I'm going to meet with advisor she will give me more info on the way it works there. So Good luck with everything.

Hi, I am from the same area you are from. I am currently trying to get into in a lvn program too. Except i am trying to in enroll at Gurnick academy in Modesto, but i have to wait till January since the next program starts in April. I had no idea Kaplan had an lvn program otherwise i would of applied there also. I know how hard it can be to have to wait, but hang in there. Good luck! and hopefully you will get in to the program.

Yeah hopefully I'll see you in the program. I just met with the advisor today and she said the next start date for the prerequisite class should be in April, but I'm not entirely sure. They still had openings for the evening program, but I'm wanting to do the morning program. So hopefully I can start in April.

I also tried enrolling for this year, but I have to wait till next year since they were full. I also posted about Gurnick in Modesto , but not many people responded.

I still have to make an appointment to register, but I completely understand what your feeling I'm 20 and I'm scared of failing. But like you nursing is something that interest me and I have a passion for. So good luck on everything :)

Yeah I'm so excited, but a the same time I'm scared because it is something new for me and I'm scared of failing. Good luck on your interview hope everything goes good for you :)
