  1. I took NCLEX-RN (Calif) last week, went home to do the PVT and got the CC page. After all weekend of being depressed, I am picking myself back up before I even get the formal results in the mail. I want/need to pass, I feel like the nerves got the best of me.. I come from a community college that is known in the community to be a very great program. I took Kaplan, did q-trainers and 81% of the q-bank, averaging 61%. I read, re-read, and re-re-read every single rationale and looked up the topics I had trouble with. Memorized my lab values, and realize now that i should have paid more attention to the s/s of abnormal lab values as well as the lab values themselves. I am very open to any advice anyone has to offer, but I am hoping to hear from people who have passed NCLEX-RN the 2nd time after taking Kaplan the first time and not passing. I am very familiar with the Kaplan decision tree. I have heard a lot about Hurst, Saunders books (? not sure which ones have worked best for people), but so far I have been hearing to review a lot of content; my plan this week is to send in my paper work and $ to the BRN to get the process started because I know it takes a while, as well as hoping to get as much info from you guys as I can in order to make a plan for when I take it again. Thanks all....
