  1. Thanks so much for your reply! I'm coming from out of state and this whole transfer thing is giving me a headache! And also, congratulations on soon becoming a graduate! :)
  2. Hi guys! I'm interested in applying to the Abilene campus next year and was hoping you guys could tell me how competitive it is to get in. And for those of you who are already admitted, if you don't mind telling me your GPA, volunteer work and teas score. Thank you guys!
  3. Hey guys, I'm looking into Texas Tech also but am not applying yet. I was just wondering, since I am from California so I don't know too much about this school - how competitive is it?
  4. Hi guys, if you don't mind would you tell me what your stats were? I have three prereqs left and will apply after, and I'm hoping to get an idea of the criteria. Thanks a lot!
  5. If only credits transfer and not GPA, would that mean my "W" from physiology won't count if I transferred to a CC? Is it a possibility to go from CSU --> CC --> back into CSULB? Thank you.
  6. Hello everyone! I'm in a difficult situation right now and am hoping you guys can give me some advice. I have tried contacting my advisor but was told that she has retired, and the new one has not emailed me back yet. I'm currently a student at CSU Long Beach and am done with all my GE's. It has taken me this long to stick with a major and I am currently at 60 units, not including this upcoming semester that will put me at 72. I have a GPA of 3.051. Two semesters ago I was declared as pre-nursing. I finished most of my pre-reqs: English, Psych, Math, and got a B in Chemistry. However, I dropped Physio that semester.. Then, I changed my major- but have now realized that it was a poor decision. I am really behind, however I still wish to pursue nursing. I want to know if there is a way I could still do so and attain my BSN. CSULB has a policy that doesn't allow you to retake your pre-reqs, so I do not believe I have a chance at applying into the program anymore because I dropped physiology. I'm going to take microbiology this semester and finish up anatomy and physiology next semester. I don't know if this is possible, but would I be able to transfer to a community college to take the last two science classes and then try to transfer back into a CSU/UC school and apply to its nursing program? I have a short amount of time to try to raise my GPA as much as I can and get better grades in my science courses. I know there is the option of going to a private/for-profit university like West Coast but I'm trying to look into any other options that will allow me to save money. I really don't want to finish school with 100k+ debt. Thanks for taking your time to read this.
