  1. Hi there, I am deciding on nursing schools and I was wondering how great OHSU actually is? I am from Oregon, and would love to go to Oregon Institute of Technology for my pre reqs, problem is that I could only apply to OHSU for nursing school because the credits don't transfer elsewhere! I am a very hard worker, so I will do what it takes to get in, but I don't want to kill myself off either! I would hate to work so hard and be delayed a few years from being accepted because my GPA wasn't a 3.8 or higher. I've taken AP classes in high school for years and I'm very used to a challenging academic schedule and having to be involved in volunteer work and a job.... Is going to OHSU nursing school worth the chance of being possibly wait listed for a year or so? Or should I go to this other little quant school, that I liked, but didn't 110% love, further from home? The have a direct entry nursing program available there that I know I'd get into.... I basically don't want to cut myself short by settling there if OHSU is really worth it. Do I just take the chance with OHSU or do I go to a safety school? I can work really hard to get in, but sometimes it takes more than hardworking, you know? Thanks guys(:
