  1. Hi guys! So I have been working on my prereqs for admission into this program for a few months now. I'm finishing up my A&PII with lab on straighterline, and also scheduling my CLEP exam for Human Growth and Development. I am currently a hospital pharmacy technician so I have a bit of patient care experience in the scope of medication reconciliation. I also already have a Bachelors of Science in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Studies. I have a Teas Score of 89%. First aid/CPR certification current. Finished my student statement long ago. And I've actually prepared a second statement under the advisement of my Enrollment Counselor, (****name removed as per site ToS****), because I currently live in Pennsylvania, but am hoping to start the Jan 2014 cohort at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena. I have saved up for the move on short notice and have family friends in LA and Barstow that can take me in while I'm in the program should I get accepted. I understand this is highly competitive to get into and just want my best shot. I was wondering if anyone else has any insight on what I need to emphasize in this second statement so that I have just as good a chance as any in-state applicant for consideration? Has anyone else been accepted into this or another WGU nursing program from out of state? Thank you!
