  1. EsJ87 Am in San Diego too, and hoping to attend WGU as this is the only option I have into a BSN being only bread weaner and provider of healthcare benefits for my family, I cant afford to not work. I hope when I apply I can get to a South OC hospital (I heard of one starting in mission viejo area). SoonerBredExpat Thanks, I looked into it more, called and had Chat sessions with WGU and got all requirements. I am saving up for straighterline classes. I feel like I wasted a bunch of time doing Gen. ed in a community college that may not be credited. Bunch of Math and Eng classes that are not college level. I was just about to start on BIO 107 which is a pre-req for A/P, Micro. Now at straighterline I can just go into those courses without satisfying any other requirements. About $1100 should do it for Straighterline classes hoping to get into a BSN cohort early to mid 2017.
  2. Am so glad someone asked a question as all else I have seen on here is not on Pre-licensure. Other than A/P, Micro Bio what other GE's does one need to start at WGU (Spanish, History, Music etc..) or are this needed before graduation. Would you know of what other hospitals students go for their clinicals other than Cedar-Sinai
  3. Hi Pre-Nurse, I am also a Medical Assistant taking my pre-reqs. I will be joining National University for their BSN program when am done. I currently work 40 hours/week and go for evening classes. Starting Fall 2015 I will start my Science classes, Chemistry w/ Lab. 2 days a week 5.30pm to 10pm. Am taking 1 class per semester to ease the work load and try and get a good GPA. Good luck with your studies, we are all doing it one way or another.
