  1. Hello everyone, I have decided to become a nurse. I have applied for both nursing diploma and degree program. I am interested in degree program although but, i will be happy if i get admission into diploma program, i don't have any problem. The reason i am prefering degree program is, if i am not wrong degree program leads to many other opportunities to grow careerwise as with diploma one is stuck unless he/she is willing to spend some more years to get their nursing degree. Please correct me if i am wrong. Also please know that i am not offending anyone. I find myself confused at times choosing between these two programs. I need your guidance please. One question is it difficult to get a job even having nursing diploma/degree if one is over 35/40 yrs old. I would really appreciate your feedback in this matter. Thank you in advance.
  2. Hello everyone, I have planned to become a nurse. I have already appeared for admission test for winter session 2014 intake for practical nursing ( 2 yrs diploma), at the same time, i have applied for 4 yrs degree program too. I will be happy if i am accepted for 4 yrs degree and do not have any problem going for 2 yrs diploma program too. I have a question and will really appreciate for the guidance. Is it too early to start pre-medical requirements like first aid/cpr without getting admission test results first? Is there any difficulty getting a job if one is over 35/40 yrs old having nursing diploma/degree in hand? Once again, i will be grateful for the replies. Thank you in advance.
