  1. Hi Rabinski, what problems are you speaking of? I've just finished my pack 2, hopefully it'll get to nmc on the 1st week of april. How's your application going?
  2. I was interviewed for kch on october 2013 LITU dept. Just ass dinno macandog on gb
  3. Hi janice82! I think it's up to the employer. Some of my friends were already deployed despite them not having their DLs yet.
  4. Im still waiting for the school to finish the training forms. How about you? Hows your application going?
  5. I've been practicing since april 2009 up until nov 15 2013. I hope that would be enough as I've had been medically cleared fit to work since october. Not really looking forward to working as volunteer while im waiting for my DL as I'm vulnerable to airborne diseases in my unit.
  6. hi everyone, I'd like to ask if you need to be actively employed or at least be working in the previous 6 months while waiting for your DL? I've been off work since nov 15 2013 and Im still completing my pack 2. Thanks. Ffup question: is it ok to include job hunting (without documentation) in the reasons for gaps in employment. Thanks!
  7. Now for my question: Do you need to be actively employed or at least be working in the previous 6 months while waiting for your DL? I've been off work since nov 15 2013 and Im still completing mt pack 2. Thanks.
  8. Hi there! By the time you read this you probably have your 2nd pack lol but in my experience it took me around a month to get my pack 2. May pack 1 was evaluated on Jan 13, then by Feb 7, they sent me my pack 2. Feb 19 was when it got to me (I'm from the Philippines)
  9. Hi! I'm lined up for king's college but I'm yet to be deployed. I'm still here in PH. Where are you from and how's your NMC application going?
  10. so it took you a year just to get to wait for your decision letter? sounds very frustrating
  11. Really? That must be so frustrating! Wheb did you start your NMC applicatiob?
  12. Hi, I'm under ASC global recruitment. They said that we will be compensated during the ONP, with the salary grade of a band 5 nurse.
  13. Hi! I've had that letter too! Although it was about my pack 1. What happened was the agency forwarded my pack 1 a month late after I paid the NMC fee. You should ask your agency if they've sent your pack because it probably might still be with them. Btw where are you from? Im from the philippines, also awaiting for my pack 2.
  14. Ouch. So did it take you 90 days to get your pack 2?
  15. Just called the nmc and asked about my pack 1. They said that it could take up to 3 months for me to get my pack 2. I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced the same thing
  16. Yeah if you're reaching the nmc by email, forget it. It takes them to long to reply. Call them instead. Call them at exactly 8:00am london time so that you wouldnt have to be put on hold in a queue. You might also want to use VoIP apps (internet to landline apps) that offer cheaper rates. Lastly, it seems that the nmc gets their work done every after the 13th day of the month. If you read the previous posts, alot of them say that they got their email/dl/etc on or after the 13th. Must be true because when i called nmc about my pack 1, they said that they lodged in on nov 13. Goodluck!
  17. It would've been terrible if i did not pass the july 2013 exam, luckily i did. Just so happens that when I registered at the NMC, I used my old, yet valid IELTS which expired on august.
  18. Lol! I can say the same about how 'efficient' NMC is nowadays. Anyway, here in the Philiplines, some NHS hospitals still sponsor a work permit.
  19. Anyone experienced having their IELTS expire while on pack 1?
  20. Hi guys, so I just got my offer letter for the 13 Oct intake at Lonsdale Uni, to the frequent commenters on this thread, do you think I should push through with the BP? considering the changes with the 457 visas? thanks
  21. I emailed my reg officer and denied my request for extension. i did however apply for the Oct/Nov intake but Im still waiting for their reply. @kayesantos did you sign up from philman or did you apply by yourself for AHPRA?
