Hi everyone, I'm a new ADN in Ohio looking for a bachelor's program to get my 4 year degree. My end goal is to earn my CRNA, but I'm having trouble decided what university I should attend for my BSN. I'm concerned that if I choose to go to a less well-known university for my degree that I will be passed over in favor of other nurses during the selection for admission to a master's program. Does a bigger name university help? Or is it more dependent on your GPA, GRE, or clinical experience? For more info, I'm in a rural area so I want an online program so I don't have to travel several hours for class/clinical/testing. There's a lot of different programs that my fellow nurses are using: Ohio University, Kaplan, etc, whereas I'm wondering if University of Toledo or OSU will actually give me a better education.
