  1. Hi. I had an interview for a new grad nursing position a few days ago and need some advice. My interview overall, I feel went pretty well, however there was one part of it which I am a bit confused about. Towards the end of the interview, I was asked when I graduated and why I am applying to the second internship opening rather than their first one. In response, I told them I had honestly missed the first opening and was fortunate enough to be see and apply to the second opening. As a response, I was asked if I had applied to any other residency programs and I told them no. In the middle of this, the HR got up and went to tell some one else that I had not applied to another program and during my 3 month gap, I volunteered at a local clinic. So my question is, what does this mean? Is it an indication of something good or have I lost my chance with this facility? Any ideas and comments will be appreciated. Thank you.
