  1. I took my board on 9/19/2016. I was not mentally prepared for the entire 265 questions, so when i hit 75 and was offered a break, I laughed. q 76-100 to 180 and I got second break and I took it. I went to the bath room, and start crying. I started to pray and ask god that if it is not for me to please stop the test. I was tired and my head ache was getting worse. I got myself together and looked in the mirror and said you got this. went back and test kept going . I remember when I hit the last question #265 , and I was like oh god I fail so bad. I had one hour left. Came out as if i just got out of a fog. went home and tired the PVC trick and got a good pop up. i was so scared. I could only read negative comments. 48 hr. later my name was posted as an RN. please go there with the mind set that you could go through the entire 265 questions. I was a very good student and honestly felt so stupid during the test. do not give up. you know everything. just try your best till the end and pay attention. never lose your cool and know that angel of nursing is with you lol. good luck my fellow nurses.
  2. thank you thank you and thank you sooooooooooooo much for posting this. I went through the same thing as you. I did my LVN before my RN. for LVN they did it backward. they let me sit for the broad than after I passed they kept my license and made me send all those papers. for my RN i was ready, so like you said I send everything ahead. I got that letter , but was scared and thinking once i take the exam they will hold my license again. but after reading your story , now I can relax and get ready to take my exam within two weeks. I appreciate your honesty.
  3. thank you so much , God was with me all the way. Now I am praying that board of register nursing will clear me as well. its been 6 years and I still get nightmares.
  4. lvn/ but now I am waiting to take my RN. this time around it went directly to enforcement unit before even letting me take the nclex, I hope that is it and they wont ask more . I have send everything base on what they asked me back in 2013 when I was taking my LVN nclex. Not sure what to think, all in know mine will take longer than others. which it sucks
  5. i cant replay to your massage because of my account in here. but i did a yelp review of them under stella my name and you can contact me via yelp and i will answer all your questions. i just finishe this month.
  6. I will tell you why my friend :) . I have been in your shoes trust me and I thought why are they so mean? but the truth is that every nurse after a while learns to short cut . They don't want you to see that. As students we want to do everything by the book, after all we are thought that way but trust me ,on the floor everyone follows their own rules. I had a nurse who did not wear gloves when she started the Iv and she said " don't do what I am doing" . I had a nurse who didn't do her assessment after changing shifts , I had a nurse who never labeled any of the IV tubes. I've seen nurses eat on their station and talk their language for hours . You name it I have seen it. I learn that I will never be that nurse. I train new nurses and I tell them do not short cut , know your basic fundamental of nursing . They don't want you see them being lazy and not doing what they are spouse to do.
  7. hello everyone I am back after couple years. I got my LVN licensed and now I am in the bridge program (LVN to RN). It has been a long journey. It took me a long time to get to where I am right now. After all I had to support myself and work full time and make sure my bills are paid. Finally this is my year to get my RN degree. I hope when I send my paper work to board of nursing they don't ask me about my wet reckless driving incident 5 years ago. I really don't want to go through what I went before with the board of licensed vocational nursing. Any thoughts ? Please leave me your thoughts and comments.
  8. hi there I am going to Uniteck and i am an LVN for 9 years. i finished all my per-req and will start in jun 15 2015 for their transition course. I am worried about that part. is it easy? will they supply me with materials? is it based on ATI or they use different method? please let me know. thank you
  9. Hi everyone, I am freaking out here, I took my nclex test in July 22/2013 after receiving my clearance from the board. I have a DUI which it was reduced to a wet reckless , and it has been three years , I also had my record expunged . However i did report everything to the board along with a copy of compilation of DUI classes, meeting, and i paid all my fees. I was happy that they let me take the nclex, I thought i don't need to submit anything, but today I received a request from them , that I need to submit the actual police report, court order and a letter from me saying exactly what happened. Now I am confused, why they let me take the test if they were going to ask for these stuff, how do i know if i pass? will they send me at less a letter saying that i pass , or i will not get any result till I submit all their requirement. I am so scared, I will go and get the documents , but I don't know what to do, sense I hear that in California it could take forever to get any thing done, help please
