  1. Obtaining DEA licensing

    I just completed Waldens AGPCNP program and have been approved to sit for boards. I have 11 months left in HPMP program in Virginia and previous public discipline on my RN license. My license is valid in Virginia and I am concerned that the board will not grant me an NP license until I successfully complete this program (July 2018). I am so worried about this. Has anyone been able to get their license while in a monitoring program, or know what I can expect? Thank you!

    I am in the exact same boat and was wondering your outcome on this manner. I am in Virginia HPMP program and have 11 months left, but I have completed my Masters and have been approved to sit for my boards. Just worried Virginia will not allow me to get my NP until I have completed HPMP. What was the outcome? Anyone else with experience in this?
