Hi RNTin. I am sorry. You cannot quote me on anything because I truly do not know if my source was 100% sure in what she said... And who knows- someone could back out or they open more spots. We hope for the best. The questions were behavioral and clinical. My suggestion is to keep applying and working on interview skills. Hope I did okay. :/ Don't give up. We keep swimming... Just keep swimming.

RNTin it was at Mission Hill. What I was told is if you were asked to interview- then it was only for that location. I applied to all four for example but where I interviewed is the only place I am being considered for. :/ I didn't ask how many were interviewed for how many spots. There were 3 on the panel and all were very nice. I asked about the other locations and they said they were already conducting panel interviews there... But who knows if they are done or all units have been called. Thanks for the luck! Praying this is the one. :). You all with Epic start at different times? In November? I worked in a hospital that had Epic, the nurses will definitely need you. It is very different from the old system and an opportunity to shine with knowledge!

piajoyagra and RNtin- Wishing us all the best. I keep thinking about nursing school and how hard it was... NCLEX, we have come so far let us just do this!!!!! I hope they call you soon RNtin (love your screen name, lol)... I don't know what to say in comfort, I just know how difficult it is to not hear and have to wait. What unit are you guys trying to get on?

Hi Otterpopp, I did not have an interview call, it was more casual then other phone screenings that I have received. This was what unit I want to be on and she was obviously looking at my application while asking about my BSN and all. She asked me then about the unit and the person who handles my Unit was not in... I was told she would call in an hour and received the call setting up my interview. I will be praying and hoping you receive a call. Did you apply to all 4 locations?

Will you be staying on as a full time RN then? Are you on a Unit you like and where you spent your NG program? And not that it is the most important issue, but it does matter... is compensation at Providence pretty comparable to other hospitals? Sorry to ask 20-20, but such an opportunity to ask questions! One more, lol, how many were in your cohort??

Hi, thanks... I am not internal and Mission Hills. I was wondering about the job fair because I did not know if it was just for Epic or for the other positions. They have had a lot of job postings recently and was just curious. :) Wishing everyone good luck!!

Hi Everyone, I was just wondering for you all that received interviews at the job fair, was this for the EPIC position or for the NG positions. My interview for Providence is next week for the NG and wondering if you all heard anything on how many they are taking or what type of quesitons they ask... I would appreciate any help. Thank you for the update! As far as the local applicants, I would move for this position and hate to think my application would be thrown out because I live 20 more miles then someone less qualified. That just sucks.
