NCLEX On hold for 1 week
And anyone curious, I failed. I'm very down. Its making me wonder why I failed, whether it was just easier to fail me than continue this review, or why they held my balls for so long.

NCLEX On hold for 1 week
Nope, you get a permanent marker and a dry erase board. And 'brain dumping' is not allowed because people can memorize a set of lab values or something just before going in, and write it down quickly, hence why you have to wait until you finish the tutorial before writing anything down. It's dumb. I didn't brain dump, and I didn't do anything except use a lot of dry-erase board and write down literally everything I was thinking. I am not sure why my account has been on hold for this long.

NCLEX On hold for 1 week
Thanks, I completely empathize that feeling of 'not focusing' after they told you that you used too many dry erase boards. Unfortunately tomorrow will be day 10 of waiting for my nclex results (and I live in a state where you can pay for the quick results). Technically it's only been 5 business days though.

NCLEX On hold for 1 week
@bhumipatel2004 I used Saunders the first time I took the test, and I failed. I thought to myself 'hey I need to save my money, and use this for free'. Sign up for Kaplan, it's expensive, but this is your career you're investing into.

NCLEX On hold for 1 week
I would write out the question... then write the options 1, 2, 3, 4 and then write whether it was an assessment or implementation if it applied, if not I would cross out the ones that I knew were wrong from the get go. Pretty much did this for the first 100 questions or so, and i would manage to squeeze around 50 questions on a board. So around 135-150 I was just like 'ah what the heck, I don't want to screw up and look at the wrong question' and got another new board at which point they said 'Just to let you know we have to tell NCLEX about your unusual number of dry erase boards'. I just kept thinking 'i can't believe there was a limit...'

NCLEX On hold for 1 week
So I took my NCLEX on 9/20 and during the test they told me around question 130 or so that "I was using too much dry erase board and they had to report it to nclex". So a couple thoughts came into my head... 1- "There is a limit on the boards I'm allowed to use?" 2- How long is this hold going to take? 3- Have I passed yet? It's been 8 days since i've taken the nclex.. and I'm starting to wonder if they forgot about me? I read somewhere online they should have the hold removed after 5 days... but.. c'mon? Also PVT trick just says the 'hold', and I called the NCSBN after 48 business hours because I was wondering what was taking so long, and they confirmed there was a hold and did not know how long it would take. Any thoughts?

Bad pop-up
For those of you who know the pearson vue trick, i did that and have gotten the bad pop-up. My gut is wrotting, and I feel awful. To be honest, during the test I felt like I was doing pretty good, and even when I got home I looked up some of the ones I thought I was having trouble with. I had 75 questions, and i'd say around 3-4 SATA style questions every 20-25 questions, had a lot of priority patients and delegation questions example] you are charge nurse and need to make room, which pt would you send, or you have a pre-partum nurse floating to your floor, which pt is best to assign to. I got a few math ones which I know I did right... and overall, I just felt like I did well, eliminated most the questions to two obvious choices when i didn't know, and yeah. I'm just feeling bummed, I don't know what to do. I feel like my new job is going to fire me now or something, and it's just... awful. I don't know for sure if I failed, since I still have to wait a couple of days, but yeah..
