  1. I was 20 when I became a nurse... I got the same reaction from some/mosy CNAs I worked with.. it was really hard. All I can say is develop a trusting work relationship with them and let them know you are here for them not here to boss them around!
  2. AND I have seen more and more LPNs in hospitals when I work with the PCP office's. Its crazy the growth in LPNs
  3. When I was in LPN school everyone was saying that too... but I followed through. I see more LPN jobs then ever! Everyone said that Maine hospital s dont hire LPNs but every hospital in maine I hiring for at least one right now. Both of the jobs I have works were hiring for a RN. One, charge nurse of a LTC unit about 30 pts. Second job, case manager for home care.. only hiring for RN. follow your dreams! Do NOT back out. And fyi not only have I seen many jobs in maine NH and Mass too. Good luck!!!
