how's the exam?

hi melaniedale38f, are you from the Phil? what state are you applying for? do you have your att and schedule for the test?

can't remember exactly what site i downloaded saunders, i just have random searches in google, try typing "download saunders nclex"

Dont worry kabayan, i graduated also from the Phil batch 2009, that was 4 years ago. Felt didn't learn anything from nursing school lol really need a refresher content when i started preparing for my nclex. You can do it also. When will be your exam?

He took the exam using kaplan for the 1st time and failed with 120 questions then for the 2nd time someone recommends feuer to him and he passed @75 items, he's also a international student from Phil 2. Someone asked me how many sata's do i have during the exam, well i thinks its more or less 10 items, 4 exhibits, 1 image, no calculation and the rest were prioritization. Know your content and just practice alot of questions. 3. I practiced questions using what i have found on the internet, like saunders, lippincott and kaplan q trainers 4. And also try to look for pda la charity, i don't know where to buy that in the Phil cause my fiance just bought that for me from the US Just post to this thread if you have more questions. Thank you! My fiance purchased feuer review for me, its much cheaper than kaplan, around $300, then he also gave me pda la charity from US and the rest were just downloaded online like the saunders program, lippincott and kaplan q trainers.

I have a lot of SATAs about 10 items, few exhibits around 4 and the rest were prioritization. I don't have really an idea if im getting the answers right, every number was hard for me. Topics were familiar as long as you covered that in your review but unfortunately i wasn't able to get familiarized with some of the questions/topics during my review but the good thing was i still passed.

I used that. Highly recommended more than kaplan. Took the exam last oct 2 with 75 items, 1st time test taker, international student from the Philippines, out of school for 4 years but then i found out yesterday (oct3) that i passed!

I want you to know guys that i passed!! Just found out today! Saw my name in NYsed site in less than 48hours, didn't have the chance to pay for quick results cause they already have my license number! Yay! Cheers kabayans!

I can't explain what im feeling right now! I can't believed that i already passed nclex! took the exam yesterday, tried checking pearson vue and have the "good pop out" but still im not fully convinced until i can personally see my license number on NYsed. Im planning to get the quick results tomorrow but to my luck upon checking the NYsed site, just took any chances and next thing i knew I SAW MY NAME AND MY LICENSE NUMBER!!! yayyy!, im so happy! Atleast i saved few bucks for the quick result! That was really fast i did't expect that it will be posted on NYsed in less than 48 hours! Here's my few tips: 1. Nclex was hard but it was attainable as long as you will focused. You don't have to be so smart and genius to pass the exam. I myself was a international grad batch 2009 so that was 4 years ago, im not a class A student in our school but my school was one of the Top Nursing School in the Philippines so i was really struggling back then to meet their high standards. 2. My review materials: -FEUER- my main reviewer ( really good content and also their q&a unbelievably hard for me more than kaplan, got 60 to high 70's) -KAPLAN Q TRAINERS: high 70's to low 80's from q1-q7 -PDA la charity: completed all including case studies, scored high 60's to high 70's and few 50's i think the one from eent subj -SAUNDERS CD: finished all 5000+ questions -LIPPINCOTT CD: i think i answered here around 3000+ questions 3. And lastly just be confident that you will pass! Nothing is impossible. Keep praying, it really works! May Jehovah God bless all new coming nclex examiners all over the world. cheers for new nurses!

What exactly good pop out appeared to you before you knew that you failed? Is it the one saying that "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time" or the one saying "results are on hold etch etch"? Which of the two?

congrats kabayan! btw, when did you graduate and where? im 2009 graduate. mine will be tomorrow, im so nervous. getting high 70's to low 80's for kaplan q trainers, i don't know why, while im not that really class A student making me more nervous and doubtful about my scores, maybe questions were familiar out from what i read all throughout my review, done all 5000 questions for saunders CD, also lippincott CD about 4000q, and FEUER for my content with 1300+ q, i also done pda and getting average of high 60's-70's, also some 50's. what do you think? i need to calm my nerves. helppp
