  1. Yep I went in on Tuesday to try them on! Just stop by Folsom Hall.
  2. I've been communicating with ---------- because I'm going out of the country but she said they are hoping to get the checklist sent out in the next couple days. I was able to complete everything within about a week but it's basically your immunizations, a drug test, uploading a few documents, and ordering your scrubs.
  3. Thanks, that is really helpful! Seems a bit less daunting knowing what a typical week might look like. Of course, I understand that doesn't include studying and homework and assignments, but I feel a bit more assured by the long skills lab and the chance to review patients the night before.
  4. Phew. See ya'll in January
  5. Here's a link from the website that lists the class schedule for the entire program: http://www.csus.edu/HHS/nrs/programs/undergraduate/traditional/Docs/important_info_bsn_app_8-31-15.pdf And if I'm not admitted I'll probably reapply in the fall.
  6. OH, I just found this after some Googling: http://www.csus.edu/hhs/nrs/programs/undergraduate/traditional/orientation/docs/2014_spring_certifiedbackground.pdf It looks like it's the instructions for certifiedbackground, but the sign-up code I'm guessing will be different, but it lists the required immunizations! Hope that is helpful for others too!
  7. Oh, yes, I saw that link! I actually found a more recent one from the Fall 2015 application semester: http://www.csus.edu/hhs/nrs/programs/undergraduate/traditional/orientation/docs/2015_fall_pre-entry_checklist_rev6-15-15.pdf It doesn't give specific information about immunizations, though; it says to go to certifiedbackground.com for instructions (and we can't access it until we've made an account) but doesn't say which immunizations we will need to get or how soon in advance we can get them done. :/ Hoping any current students or alumni could shed some insight
  8. Monday 5pm you guys! I also have a question though if anybody has any info: when are second bachelor's students supposed to apply to the university? And does anybody know the "rules" foe the immunizations? Is it okay if we get them done now? I only have a week or so to get everything done before I'm off to Europe before hell I mean the adventure begins :)
  9. Wow, thanks so much for that link!!
  10. So for second bachelors students, we're not required to attend the CSUS transfer orientation, but I remember reading in the application instructions that we'll have to attend a meeting on the Wednesday before instruction begins, so I planned a trip in the month between semesters and won't be back until the Monday before that Wednesday... will that give me enough time to get everything done or will I need to land in a bit earlier? Do we need to get anything else settled beside the vaccines?
  11. Arriving to the party fashionably late. Got the email and it actually got me feeling a bit nervous :Z I reported 86 points and got cocky after turning in my app and began acting as if I'd already been admitted, but the cutoff has gone up quite a bit from previous semesters!! Which is good, but man, I hope I did my math correctly... But anyway, hello all! Let's try to pass the next month quickly :)
