After reading about the great difficulty in CA for new RNs finding employment, what do people in ADN programs plan for after graduation? Will you try to look for work? Move to other areas of the country with better opportunity for new grads? Or immediately pursue the BSN (or MSN)? From reading about new CA grad experience, it is very challenging for new BSN grads to find work, so it the outlook for ADNs seems abysmal. I have been considering pursuing an RN at my local CC mainly due to cost, but the job prospects for ADN grads don't seem too promising in CA.
