oh yes , i'm gonna also apply to private colleges. NYU is expensive, but it's close by in Manhattan. I was also thinking about Binghamton University. I finished most of their pre reqs These prerequisite courses** consist of: two composition courses statistics introductory biology* two courses in human anatomy and physiology microbiology two courses in general chemistry, including principles of inorganic, organic, and biochemistry introductory psychology developmental psychology *Introductory biology is waived for students who take microbiology and anatomy and physiology at another college. ** All courses must be taken for at least three credits. It is expected that anatomy, chemistry, microbiology, and physiology include a laboratory component.

I took orgo at hunter in the spring 2013 and if we are taking about the same professor for orgo she's not that bad. She has office hours right after class, so you can clear up any questions. It is a class that you have to read the chaps BEFORE coming to class because of the iclicker questions. I didn't take A&P yet. I'm taking it this fall. The professor is good (I looked her up on the teacher evaluations) so i don"t think taking both will be a problem. In spring 2014 I plan to take a double science (A&P and Micro).

With your GPA you got this. I took orgo chem last spring it was an ok class, i got an A just need to spend the time to absorb all the information. The key to pass that class is STUDY STUDY STUDY. I actually liked orgo chem better than gen chem... haha I'm weird like that. You should take anatomy and physiology, it will lighten the load of classes to take during the nursing program.

Hunter College New Generic Program
Hi everyone, I took the NLN and got a 131 , and my GPA is 3.89.I know that my gpa is at a good number , but i feel that my NLN test score is on the low side.I am planning on applying in 2014 for the traditional generic pathway. I was wondering if these scores are good enough for Hunter's new generic program. Anyone who got accepted for this program can you please share your GPA and NLN score. Thanks :)
