  1. It was in August sometime! I think the first week.
  2. I got my letter June 1st. My GPA was a 3.8 and I made a 96 on the entrance hesi. It was very competitive the year I applied so you should be ok with your GPA and score! My experience with the program was very good! It was a little unorganized but we just had to adapt as we went, since we were the first class. We graduated 29 last night!
  3. I am about to graduate from there. We are the first class. There is no problem with us going for our BSN or getting jobs. We have had several bsn programs come and talk with us as well as hospitals.
  4. I quit both my jobs for nursing school and it was the best decision I ever made!! There are some people in the program that work but they have no other option and advise against it. It's great not working because I never have to worry about when I am going to have time to study. And some days you just need time to relax and not go crazy with all the school work! If you don't HAVE to work, I wouldn't!
  5. Hey everyone! I was accepted into an ASN program at a technical school. This is there first RN class so its all very new for everyone. They haven't really sent us anything on how to get prepared, I've emailed everyone in charge of the program and they all tell me to wait until orientation on August 12th and 13th but I really want to get the ball rolling on things. What kind of tests and stuff are normal to have for nursing school? I know this is very broad but I just need some ideas on what to start on. I've made an appointment to get a physical, all of my shots are up to date. I've heard of people having TB tests, is that common? What about a background check? Drug screen??? Thanks in advance everyone!!
