  1. Questions Regarding RURAL nursing in alberta/ applying in alberta/ scared of no job

    Hello, Im currently in the after degree program at the university of alberta, a little more than a year left. I was wondering if anybody had any details regarding rural nursing in alberta. What are the advantages to rural nursing? I hear that there is a student loan repayment incentive for rural registered nurses, is this true? One of the reasons I entered this program just a year ago was because of the apparently huge availability of registered nursing jobs in Alberta. Just my luck that this has now changed. Am I totally screwed? Does being male give me any sort of advantage in the job market? Thanks so much appreciate any responses
