I think they have to first process your stuff and then financial aid will package you. From what they told me, they haven't packaged anyone yet. Hopefully its within the next two weeks. I can't take waiting anymore. It's killing me.

I was accepted into the LPN evening class about a month ago. Just waiting for them to package financial aid. Until they do that, you are not officially registered.

They said it was too early. That once financial aid packages are done, then you can come in and finish the process. In the meantime, I am getting my shot records in order and CPR completed. There is a list of requirements that you need to complete before the start of class but if you wait until registration is complete, you may not have enough time.

Me too Erica. Do you have an appointment to register?

I am starting January 6th in St Pete. I am still waiting for financial aid to be finalized. The wait is killing me...

Hillsborough Community College - Spring 2014
Should I just show the list of required shots to my doctor and they can test me for immunity? I am afraid I will have to get everything done within the next few months. Ugh...

Hillsborough Community College - Spring 2014
Keep your heads up everyone! We have waited this long and we have worked too hard to be let down now! We have all chosen to be apart of an extraordinary career. This life will always have it ups and downs. This waiting is just one hiccup in one crazy ride. I have waited over a year to get into a nursing program. I decided to finish school after leaving almost 10 years ago. Once I came back, they added a whole extra year of pre-reqs. I have waited this long I can wait a little longer. Once it starts I probably won't even remember the last year. Everything will be a blur. One thing will stay with me though through good times and bad. I want this so badly and when I finally get to put on that uniform, it will be one of the most happiest moments of my life. I am doing this for me and for my family. Most of all, I am grateful that I was given a second chance to even pursue my dreams. Hold on everyone! It will be worth the wait.

Not sure about the classes themselves but I think you cannot get below a B.

January yes. You will know your score as soon as you are done. I was able to pull a report which told me my rank, percentages and then overall score.
-
Galen 2013-2014
That is what they said but mine was 96 out of 200. Even still, there was only 40 math questions, 50 science and 50 vocab. Your score could range from 0-200. Overall scores range from 0 to 200. The average is around 100, and the standard deviation, a measure of variability around the average, is 20. Most scores fall between 50 and 150. Please note that these scores are not the same as the percentage of items answered correctly on a 100-point scale, i.e. an overall score of 75 does not equal 75 percent.
